My work as a writer and visual artist spans fifty years. I’ve shown work in solo and group exhibitions, produced site-specific installations and served as lead artist for a City of Houston art project. Most recently, I collaborated on a photographic installation using images from a trove of nude pictures a friend and I took of one another in the early 1980s. In tandem with this exhibition, we hosted a weekend of public conversations on women made visible with a camera.
My passions are crafting personal essays, printing photographs from negatives, assembling photo collages and authoring blog posts. Not a day goes by that I do not look for connections between and among images and words.
